Participate in a Service Activity organized by a GCA teacher:

On the April 11^th at 9 o’clock, Joyce and I went to school for cooking, we went to Mr.Gallinelli’s classroom. And the French student Paulia thought us to cook cookies, at the beginning, we tasted her cookie, it is nice, and then we begun to cook. We should have 55g butter, 112g flour, vanilla, some chocolate, an egg, 55g white sugar and 55g red sugar.

At first, we should melt the butter, but in the Ms. Bartell and Ms.hadleys’ classroom’s induction cooker was broken, so we went to the mess hall and use the microwave oven. The butter melted and plus a egg and 55g white sugar and red sugar, mix them when they are become regular. And then plus flour, mix them, and plus some vanilla and chocolate, this is OK, put them in the oven, at first the temperature is about 200 degree for five minutes, and then the temperature about 175 degree for five minutes. The taste is so sweet, because of so much sugar.

I felt so happy about cooking, this is my first time cooking, before mom always cook for me, we did it for 2 hours, but we eat it for five minutes, I realize my mother’s hardworking. So I will eat every food carefully, there are my mother’s work.
