Go to a performance
we went to the performance called The taming of the shrew on the 19th December in school, I went to the performance with my friends Doria, Kathleen, and Winona, we attended it at half past six, I chose this performance because this performance was in school, it was convenient and the price was low.
The performance was so great, the main character Katharina, who is an intelligent, but grumpy shrew, unwillingly married a nobleman, Petruchio. Afterwards, Petruchio “tamed” his wife into an obedient and gentle woman. I like it, because this drama’s polt is funny, the character acted excellently, lighting effects are nice and the sound effects are great too. I think it is so interesting and amazing, at first, the main character Baptista is looking for a husband for Kate, the shrew, Gremio and Hortensio are frightened of Katharina. Petruchio visits Hortensio and he is looking for a wife, Hortensio introduces Kate to him, Petruchio and Kate returns home, he uses all his talents to tame the shrew. Finally katharina has transformed into an obedient wife. I think her change is so interesting. Her change because of a bed, when Kate felt so tired, she went to bed, and Petruchio and Kate slept in the same bed, Kate rolled all the time, Petruchio felt so bad about this, he stopped she sleeping, he threw the pillow, the quilt, the bedsheet, finally on the stage there was only has a bed, I think this part is so interesting.
I like this drama, I enjoy it.
